šAn oak barrel is the best container for making whiskey, bourbon, rum, calvados, brandy, tequila, wine, etc.
An oak barrel will give your drink a special taste, color and aroma.
Wooden barrels are made of high density solid oak, at least 80 years old.
The barrel is made by hand, and medium roasting is used to process the barrel, which saturates the drink with a sweet taste and delicate aroma.

Preparing an oak barrel
Any wooden container must be properly prepared for use.
Fill a new barrel with clean water and change the water once a day until it becomes completely transparent. This process can take 1 to 2 weeks.
After the start of use, we recommend not to store the barrel empty, it must always contain either water or alcohol.
Such a barrel will serve you for many years.

I hate leaving bad reviews but for starters, we got this barrel customized for our wedding in September 2021. The spout was glued/waxed in it so hard, and we had to force it out. We connected to the people who made it and got a new one.Then, we put Jameson in it for our unity at our wedding and the liquid absorbed into the wood from inside, theres nothing left in it, at all. The metal rings are all falling off, it looks moldy (black parts) and the spout just comes out and doesnt hold anymore.For the money we spent on this, its not worth it. Im not happy. We planned on drinking the Jameson we poured into it at 6 months and a year but theres nothing left.
That was the fastest shipping ever, especially for a personalized item. It looks beautiful. Exactly as I want it to look. They did a great job! Would definitely buy from them again. Its a gift for my niece and nephews 40th birthdays, they were both born in 1983. I think its perfect. Thank you to the sellers..
Construction, build grade seems quite good. The only thing that was bit disappointing was the holes at the center of each end. They cut nto some of the text printed .But understand why they're there for making the circular piece.

There is a indentation where the distillery name is and cant read the word. Other thank that very well built
